Software development in Hamilton and the Waikato
Longcloud is a two-person software and AI studio in Hamilton Central. We build bespoke software, vertical SaaS platforms, data and analytics, process automation, websites and browser games for businesses across the Waikato, and you work directly with the two founders from the first conversation onwards.
Our Waikato work
Every case study we've published so far is a Waikato project. Each one is written up in full: the problem, what we built and how it works.
Why work with a Hamilton team
We work with clients across New Zealand and overseas, but being down the road from you still counts for more than it sounds.
We come to you
We can spend a day in your operation watching how the work really gets done, which is where the best software requirements come from.
Same timezone, same rules
We're on New Zealand time when something needs attention, and we design for the Privacy Act 2020, GST and your sector's regulation from day one.
Your data where it needs to be
Where data sovereignty matters, we deploy to New Zealand-based infrastructure. Where it doesn't, we use whichever cloud gives you the best performance for the money.
The founders, not an account manager
Longcloud is two people, so you deal with the people doing the work from the first conversation to launch and beyond.
Part of the Waikato business community
Longcloud's founders have been in business in the region for years. Paul Singh founded HMK Services, his procurement, supply chain and commercial consultancy, in 2019. Nick Foley owns Foley & Co, his Hamilton business advisory practice, and chairs Connect Waikato.
On 8 July 2026 Nick spoke at Connect Waikato's free community event, Human Connection in an AI World, in Hamilton, with Paul as MC, to a room of 150 to 200 business owners and operators. We built the event website and the browser game Nick demonstrated on the night.
What we build
Everything we offer is delivered from Hamilton, for Waikato businesses and for clients further afield.
